We believe in a future where foodtechs will radically transform the way food is produced, distributed and consumed. We live in a time of abundance of capital, but it has not yet reached the ecosystem of food and beverage startups. This needs to change.
For investors, we offer much more than a healthy option to diversify the portfolio: we open up a world of possibilities to have access to the best investment opportunities. We always put capital efficiency first, have a niche investment thesis and a strong commitment to transparency.
For entrepreneurs, we are much more than a bridge to capital. We have a startup soul and we know the pain and anxieties of those who are in this place. We awake a fundraiser mindset in founders and provide strategic guidance through a network of industry experts. We walk side by side looking together towards long-term goals. This makes all the difference.
We’ll be pleased to share our vision of the future of the F&B sector and the greatest opportunities in the foodtech landscape.
Our team is always ready to meet visionary entrepreneurs addressing the complex food system challenges.
Performance is directly linked to how deep you understand the landscape. So is capital efficiency. To us, having a focused and clear investment thesis is the key to assure we’re selecting the best enterpreneurs and making the best investments. Outcast Ventures works with seven verticals:
Technologies used for the creation of new food & beverage categories, often associated with the use of alternative raw materials to create new products for the food industry.
A movement with the goal of bringing producers and consumers closer by decreasing the amount of intermediaries in the process and improving the efficiency of the supply chain.
Applications that turn easier to access information about nutrition and food in general.
It also includes apps focused on helping users find and share content about restaurants.
Technologic solutions used to increase the lifespan of food, and also identify when they are not proper to eat anymore, including their traceability inside the supply chain. Solutions in form of products, new processes, and applications that contribute to reducing food waste by redistributing the food for consumption through connections with other chain agents.
Applications focused on improving the management of internal processes and efficiency in kitchens. It also includes apps used by the final consumers to improve the interaction between them and the food service.
Food delivery services that handle the products directly to the final consumer, including all of the new tools and intermediaries focused on making the process safer and faster.
Gourmetzinho was born with the proposal to offer healthy food options for babies and children. Created by a Dad Chef, the startup is the result of experiences while cooking for his own son. With the support of pediatricians and nutritionists, a balanced menu was prepared, full of options and flavors, resulting in complete, nutritious, tasty and preservative-free baby foods and snacks!
